Since 2014, ImpactLabs Global have organized three summer workshops at universities in Nigeria

We organize workshops that combine rigorous scientific and engineering knowledge with hands-on experience

ImpactLabs is an initiative launched by students and graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University in 2014 when we launched the first summer camp at the University of Lagos. In 2015, we were joined by the Technology Innovation Labs (TIL) of Bells University of Technology, Ota, Nigeria. The 2017 program took place between August 14-25, 2017 at the University of Benin, Benin, Edo State. 

UNILAG Summer Workshop 2014

ImpactLabs organized a summer workshop during August 18th to 29th 2014 at the Computer Hardware Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, University of Lagos. During the workshop, the students learnt the basics of low-cost energy and water purification techniques using locally available materials while being challenged to develop their own solutions to problems that they identified during the program.

Bells University Summer Workshop 2015

In 2015, we were joined by the Technology Innovation Labs (TIL) of Bells University of Technology, Ota, Nigeria. The instructors brought varied expertise in engineering design, software, and biomedical engineering. During the 2015 summer camp, the participants gained hands-on experience combining techniques in software and engineering design into real-life technology in health, agriculture and/or sanitation.

UNIBEN Summer Workshop 2017

Our instructors bring varied expertise in engineering design and software. During our camps, the participants gain hands-on experience combining techniques in software and engineering design into real-life technology. The 2017 program was residential and took place between August 14-25, 2017 at the University of Benin, Benin, Edo State.
